I Get Canker Sores" readability="27">

I wanted to share my story because I'm hoping to help someone else. I'm 44 years old and have suffered from canker sores since childhood. I honestly don't remember not having them. Sometimes, I would have one or two... other times more than five at once. It was always agony. As a mother of two little children, I was in the process of researching a food intolerence and WHAM... Gluten intolerence rang out loud and clear.

I have a gluten intolerence and once I eliminated gluten from my diet I no longer broke out. Then my children's birthdays rolled around. We ate pizza, hot dogs, and cake, to name a few, and guess what happened. That's right... As I am writing this post, I am suffering with 3 canker sores.

If I were to write about my lifetime struggles with canker sores, it fill numerous pages. So, in a nutshell, if you are suffering and you don't know why, try to cut back your gluten intake. I was raised in a very italian household where pasta was king (after my dad of course). Not a day went by without an italian bread or biscuits... and oh yes, the cake and pastries. So as you see, I never had a time in my life that I did not enjoy these foods on a regular basis. Therefore, my body never had a chance to react to not having it.

I discovered my gluten intolerance by accident, and now I know for sure that for me, gluten is the enemy and the cause of my pain. I wish I had known it sooner. Maybe someone else can benefit from my story. Check it out.
